Discovery Decoded Webinar Series, Session 1: Building Defensible AI Review

The Discovery Decoded Webinar Series, Session 1: Building Defensible AI Review Workflows
Time: Thursday, June 18, 2026 | 1:00 PM Eastern | Live via Zoom
Hosts: ACEDS New York Metro Chapter and BakerHostetler
About This Session:
AI-assisted document review has moved from concept to standard practice, but defensibility still trips up legal teams who adopt these tools without a clear workflow. This session offers a practical introduction to aiR for Review, Relativity’s AI-powered review platform, and walks through the workflow that makes the results stand up in front of a court, an adversary, or a client.
Attendees will leave with a foundational understanding of how AI-assisted review fits into the EDRM, how to develop and iterate on issue prompts, how results are statistically validated, and how the platform can be applied to complex litigation matters. The session is designed for legal professionals who are AI-curious but not yet comfortable putting AI review into production. If you have ever asked whether the output is reliable enough to certify, this session is for you.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the session, attendees will be able to explain what aiR for Review is and how it fits within the eDiscovery lifecycle, describe the AI review workflow from issue prompt development through validation, set up a project and iterate prompts for quality results, identify use cases where AI review provides efficiency advantages over traditional linear review, and recognize the role of statistical validation in defensible AI-assisted review.

Director of Innovation & Strategy, JND eDiscovery.
